Owner came out and aerated my lawn. Super impressed with the equipment he used. True Green Lawn Care wanted almost $300 to aerate, using a hokie machine. Out working in the yard is one of my favorite things to do. Working with Austin has been an absolute pleasure. Starting with core aeration to help the turf with nutrient absorption and aide our hard compacted clay soil here in DFW. My front yard became a hot mess and I wasn’t sure if it was a fungus, insects, or soil. After weeks of research I did my best to tend to it and repair myself.. and that didn’t get me very far. So I spent over two months contacting lawn companies in the area to come evaluate my yard as to what could be causing my grass to die and they either wanted me to sign a contract prior to coming out or they would give me the run around. Then I found One Awesome Dad on a google search and the owner Austin is just that ....awesome. Within a week he came out without any contracts needed, did a thorough check of my yard and then spent over 30 minutes talking to me about his remedies and methods to bring my yard back to life. He was hired. A few months in and my yard looks amazing compared to the hot mess he walked into. I have the best looking backyard on my block. Austin met with me about a year ago regarding weed control. He told me about his organic treatment plan. I was interested in that plan as I have 2 boys and a dog that play in the backyard very often. I didn’t want to have to tell them they couldn’t play outside because of chemicals on the lawn. My lawn looks AMAZING right now. He was upfront and said the organic version is slower to see results than the “chemical” treatment plan and he insured that I would be pleased with the results. Man oh man! This company is amazing.Austin is very knowledgeable and you can tell he loves this stuff. I’ve never had anyone explain my options like him. I was gonna to have the whole lawn replaced to sell but Austin came up with a plan to rehab what I had for a fraction of the price of a new installation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ OAD lawn care service About 2 weeks ago, Austin Smith and his crew at One Awesome Dad Lawncare resodded my entire lawn. They also did minor maintenance of my sprinkler system - replacing broken sprinkler heads, correcting alignment and aim of sprinkler heads, replacing some sprinkler heads with more appropriate types. They did the work promptly and every indication I have so far is that they did a great job. The lawn is looking MUCH better. I liked the work so much, I've hired them to do the ongonig lawncare - mowing, fertilizing, and aerating as needed. For now, I am a very happy customer! I fully expect that to continue.
